libregexp-log-perl software package provides base class for log files regexp builders, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libregexp-log-perl
libregexp-log-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libregexp-log-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libregexp-log-perl *
You will get with libregexp-log-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
